1940 LaSalle Series 52 Special Convertible Coupe for sale. This 1940 LaSalle Series 52 Special Convertible Coupe has been completely restored and has a gorgeous look inside and out. In 1927, General Motors introduced LaSalle, a companion brand to GM’s top-of-the-line brand Cadillac. The LaSalles were manufactured by Cadillac but were slightly less expensive and thus less ostentatious than the fancier Cadillacs. This particular LaSalle Convertible comes to us out of a very large collection in Texas, having spent its previous years in collections in Colorado and California. This LaSalle Special is powered by a 332 Cubic Inch L-Head V8 engine with a Single 2 Barrel Carburetor which produced 130 Horsepower in its day.
